A Semester Here

Students live and study together in the Manor House and the Discovery Headquarters, modern hubs built for both daily life and spiritual growth. Weeks are shaped by devotionals, guided tours of Nauvoo's historic sites and museums, workshops, service projects, and day trips to nearby cities. You'll gather with the local YSA branch, attend the temple, and build the kind of friendships that come from learning and serving side by side.

Testimonials

“The Nauvoo Discovery Program is amazing. It’s a program that can bring you closer to God. You get to make friends, do service, and do activities all while going to school. It’s a great balance of hard work and fun, and you can feel God’s love in this beautiful place.”

Weber State University · NDP Fall 2024

“If you were to tell me in June 2024 that in September I would be attending college in Nauvoo, not for one second would I believe you. This time in Nauvoo has been phenomenal, and I have loved the abundance of activities and service opportunities within the branch and the NDP, and I feel closer to my Savior every day. Highly recommend.”

Nathan Cranney

BYU-Idaho · NDP Fall 2024

“The Nauvoo Discovery Program is a great program for branching out and growing spiritually, physically, intellectually, and socially. I’m finding myself learning every day with people I would not have met otherwise, and am so grateful for the handprint they leave on my heart. This program is one where you take out of it what you put in, so bring a hungry heart and soul, and be fed in ways you couldn’t have imagined.”
