Who Can Apply?
The Nauvoo Discovery Program is designed for young adults who want to grow spiritually, personally, and professionally while living in a historic small-town setting.
Young Single Adults ages 18–30
The program is open to Young Single Adults ages 18–30, including college students taking online classes, those between semesters, and young adults who are not currently enrolled in school. You do not need to be a full-time student to participate.
The Discovery Program is especially well suited for individuals preparing for missionary service, those seeking greater spiritual focus before submitting papers, and returned missionaries looking for a supportive environment as they transition into school, work, and independent adult life.

Participants benefit from a structured yet flexible experience that encourages personal responsibility, work experience, and community involvement. With a strong YSA community, meaningful employment opportunities, and a Christ-centered atmosphere, the Nauvoo Discovery Program supports both missionary readiness and post-mission adjustment, helping students build confidence, strengthen testimonies, and move forward with purpose.
